You work as hard as the artists you save, and you keep wondering what they know that you don’t. On Sunday I show you how a designer decides a set: the questions I ask before choosing anything, and why a map can’t answer them.

You know these moments.

01

The save

You save another artist’s set, watch it again, and type “lash map?” like everyone else.

02

The inspo picture

A client holds up a photo and says “I want this”. Your stomach drops.

03

The complaint

She says it isn’t right, you can’t see why, and you refund her.

04

The quiet doubt

Your work is lovely, your clients say so, and it still doesn’t feel like yours. You soften your price before she reacts.

Three or four years in, the question starts creeping in: will I still be doing exactly this two years from now?

An ordinary Tuesday, a few years from now.

You charge double what you used to, and you work fewer hours to do it. There is no rush between clients. Your first client arrives with your work already saved on her phone, and she says yes to your price without asking for a discount. You finish on time, you have lunch sitting down, and you are there for your evening. You are living your life as it happens, not waiting for the quiet week that never comes. A message comes in from another artist asking how you designed that set.

It is the life most of us started this career to build. It begins with how you decide a set, and that is what I show you on Sunday.

Why it happens.

Most lash modules teach technique and then hand you a map. A map is a copy of someone else’s decision, so it can’t match a photo on a different eye or tell you what went wrong when a set comes back.

Which one are you right now?

Stage one
Technician
  • The setUses the map she has used most, or one she saved
  • PriceSoftens it, or offers a discount before the client reacts
Stage two
Emerging Designer
  • The setLooks at the eye first, some of the time, and her best sets show it
  • PriceSays it, then braces herself, because she can’t yet say why a set works
Stage three
Premium Designer
  • The setDesigns from the client’s eye and can tell her why
  • PriceSays it plainly, and clients can arrive with her work already saved

Most artists sit between two of these. Sunday shows you how the third one decides.

“I design every set for your eye, so I’ll show you what I’ve read and what I’d do. The full set is…”

Then say your number and stop. In the session I show you what has to sit behind it.

In their words, typos kept.

But its reallyyy placement. And you taught me that.

I’ve also raised my prices by €70 and I was convinced nobody would book. Turns out the clients who value my work didn’t even question it.

I’ve been where you are.

Five years ago I had no mentor and no teacher, and I was working it all out alone. I was working back to back, in the least healthy state I have ever been in, with no time for myself.

Today I design sets across Europe, and I’ve made multiple six figures from my lash design brand, PSC Lashes. I moved to a country where I couldn’t even speak the language and charged premium prices from the day I arrived. As I grew I charged more than €175, in a place where nobody paid more than €80 for lashes, and I was still back to back. Premium prices didn’t free my diary. Today clients fly in to see me from the US, Canada and France.

I have mastered my brand, my artistry and my skill, and I have learned how to sell it. I want you to get there faster than I did, with someone showing you how.

Rachel, founder of PSC Lashes

  • I only take private lash commissions, never for less than £1,000.
  • I’m recognised as a pioneer of the lash technician to lash designer movement.
  • I’ve trained lash artists from all over the world.

Made for the artist who already applies well and wants more from it.

  1. 01You hold a foundational qualificationand you have real clients.
  2. 02You save other artists’ setsand wonder what they know that you don’t.
  3. 03A photo or a complaintleaves you unsure, so you reach for a map or a refund.
  4. 04You want to be the one clients ask for by name, and to say your price without softening it.

Still learning to apply? It’s a little early for you.

From Lash Technician to Lash Designer.

Picture the next client who holds up a photo, and you knowing exactly what to ask before you decide anything, then saying your price and leaving the silence alone. Other artists are already building their names on that. Come on Sunday and I will show you how a designer thinks. Free, live, for qualified lash artists with real clients.
