Privacy notice

This notice explains what we do with your details when you register for the free session, buy The Designer Compass Method or use the course and software. It is written to be read, and it uses plain words.

Who we are

What we collect, why, and on what basis

We use no automated decision making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Client photographs in the software

If you put photographs of your clients into the Designer Compass software, the photographs and the measurements taken from them are processed so that the software can give you its analysis. They belong to you and your client, and you decide what to upload. Details of where this processing happens and which providers take part are given in the software's own notice.

We use other companies to run parts of the service, and they handle your details only for that purpose:

our course and funnel platform, which runs registration, the session room and your course account
our payment provider, which takes card payments
our email and text message providers, which send reminders and receipts
our video hosting provider, which plays the session and the course videos

If a provider handles your details outside the UK, we make sure a lawful way of transferring them is in place. We do not sell your details.

How long we keep it

Registration and attendance records: [retention period to confirm]

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable form.
